Papademos: Grecia risca sa intre in incapacitate de plata
"Partenerii sociali trebuie sa depuna eforturi in negocieri, pentru a imbunatati competitivitatea economiei si a stimula angajarile", a spus primul-ministru.

Oh sure, all is well in Greece; and Spain, and Italy, and main street U.S.S.A.
Ah, and speaking about Spain:
Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- The Spanish govt helped the Valencia region make an EU123m payment to Deutsche Bank that had been overdue since Dec. 27, El Pais reported.
• Treasury gave a verbal guarantee to an unidentified lender persuading it to advance the funds the regional government needed to make the payment, the newspaper said
• Verbal guarantee was extended to get round a law which prevents central govt from formally backstopping the debts of the regions, the newspaper added
• Central govt also advanced its regular transfers to the regions by about 10 days to Jan. 3 to help Valencia, El Pais said
¡ Olè !

It is about time for all the countries in Europe to wake up to reality. For years people have wondered whether Europeans have found the perfect formula of life: long vacation, eating out all week and working less. Well, my friends, it looks like there was no magic but a fake reality. Wake up and start working, don't be leaches on the back of hard working people. There is no problem if you don't want to work, be my guests, but don't beg for money when you're hungry.
